Ilario Properzi founded the company and invented the continuous casting and direct rolling process that allowed wire to be produced directly from liquid metal in less than two minutes. International marketing of the equipment began shortly afterwards.
First continuous casting and rolling line for the production of aluminium rod. About 300 aluminium and alloy lines have been sold to date.
Properzi extends the production method to copper rod. Today there are more than 70 plants sold worldwide.
The founder Mr. Ilario Properzi wins the Mordica prize.
More than fifty MICROROLLING® rolling mills – cold and hot processed wire.
First line for the production of lead strip, nowadays used by battery manufacturers. Currently more than 40 lines for the production of strip have been sold all over the world.
First continuous ingot machine (production of aluminium ingots), called «Wheel & Belt».
Creation of a new operating division in the field of ferrous metals: «Wire Machinery Division» which partly uses the technology acquired in 2000 by RTM acronym of Redaelli Tecna Meccanica – Italy, O.T.T – France and J.A. Kraft – Germany. OTT technology for automatic double winders is currently in operation.

Properzi builds the first continuous ingot machine for the production of copper ingots.
Founded CPT Co. company focused on carpentry, machining and entire CCR lines for the nascent markets of developing countries.
New refining furnace (250T) with innovative top loading system, Italian patent n° 0001401968 (also obtained patent in Europe, China, Russia and USA).
Properzi acquires from Threesixty Extrusion Technology Ltd. the know-how and technology for the production of extrusion machinery: Pro-form Properzi Forming – Continuous Extrusion Machinery.
Foundation of Rhoel S.r.l. company specialized in the creation of integrators and in the design of complete industrial automation systems, as well as low voltage distribution boards.

Foundation of Exus S.r.l. company specialized in the treatment of fumes.
Sale of giant CCR ETP Line (Continuous Casting & Rolling Line from cathodes) plant, for the production of 250,000 tons per year (38 tph) of copper rod.
