It’s now a well-established company tradition to annually celebrate employees who reach the milestone of 20 years of service at Continuus-Properzi.
This special occasion, designed to recognize the commitment and dedication of these individuals, is celebrated together with their families.
The event represents not only a concrete recognition of their long career, but also a symbolic occasion: it officially marks the beginning of summer at the company!
This year, however, the evening had a truly special character, marked by three distinct moments that gave rhythm and meaning to the entire event:
1. The story of a unique industrial history
The evening opened with a dive into our history: the origins of Properzi, the pioneering challenges, and the first sales of the continuous rolling and casting method, patented by founder Ilario Properzi.
This extraordinary entrepreneurial story is reconstructed in the book “The Incredible Properzi Case,” written by Marco Rotunno, Director of the Museum of Technical Innovation and Industry, a graduate electronics technician, and adjunct professor at the I.T.T. G. e M. Montani, the same institute where Ilario Properzi trained.
The book was officially presented during the evening, with a book signing session hosted by our President, Giulio Properzi, and the author.
2. The “Properzi Cocktail” Challenge
In a more light-hearted and engaging atmosphere, the “Properzi Cocktail” competition took place, with the aim of determining the official Properzi cocktail.
Seven teams challenged each other with shakers, presenting original and imaginative cocktails: Bastonators, Blue Sales, Erection Mojito, Mixed by Mounting, Mugiwara, Squiddy Squad, and Whiskey a Go Go.
The jury awarded joint prizes to the creations of Mixed by Mounting and Whiskey a Go Go, which will now become the official cocktails of our corporate events.
3. Twentieth Anniversary Awards Ceremony
The most moving moment of the evening was the award ceremony for the employees who reached 20 years of service at Properzi. From Eng. Properzi, they received a certificate and a gift in recognition of their invaluable contribution and long-standing dedication to the company.
The following colleagues were recognized: Barbara Carafoli, Simone Carbone, Emiliano Alberto Croce, Daniela Gualtieri, Santo Pizzimenti, Stefano Prevedini, and Paolo Valenti.
