Our journey began many years ago, with our founder Ilario Properzi. He began “his story” in 1936 during a difficult period. At that time, The League of Nations sanctioned an embargo against Italy for its invasion of Ethiopia. This made it very challenging for Ilario to work with zinc and lead – both precious metals at that time.

Since then we have continued moving forward and applied our technology to working with Lead.

Today Properzi, a true engineering Company, offers a complete range of equipment for both narrow strip and wide strip, from furnaces to coiler, in the production range 2 – 9 tph for narrow strip and 5 – 25 tph for wide strip (≈ 340 mm) for punched grids.
