Our presence at Interwire dates back to the early 80s; since then the non-ferrous metal industry has changed a lot and our technology has evolved accordingly.

This year, as usual, we will participate in Interwire, which will be held from May 13th to 15th in Atlanta, and also at the GLOBAL CONTINUOUS CASTING FORUM- GCCF.

We look forward to seeing you at our booth 1039, where our specialists will be at your disposal to explain the details of our technology.

Additionally, we will be delivering a presentation at the GCCF entitled – HISTORIC REVIEW OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF FRHC ROD PRODUCTION, 60 YEARS IN THE MAKING!

The presentation will be held by Alberto Ghisetti – Sales Director of Continuus-Properzi S.p.A, and Giuseppe Marcantoni – General Manager and Vice President of Properzi International, Inc.

We eagerly anticipate your attendance in large numbers on Tuesday 13 May, from 08:10 am to 8:40 am at the Casting Forum, room 411.

Here is a brief summary of what our colleagues will be presenting:

Unbeknownst to many participants in the copper rod industry today, the technology for casting and rolling copper rod and the technology behind the recycling of copper scrap for the production of FRHC rod actually began simultaneously in the early 1960s. The technology behind the recycling of copper scrap has improved substantially since its inception in 1963. Through the years, Continuus-Properzi has been at the forefront of tackling the many challenges associated with the development of this technology, which has also become instrumental in the push to be more ‘green’. Today, the production of FRHC rod using 100% copper scrap is becoming more commonplace, and Continuus-Properzi remains the leading international supplier of Furnaces, Refining Technology, Continuous Casting & Rolling Equipment, and Environmental Exhaust Control Systems.

If you have the opportunity to visit our booth, we encourage you to schedule an appointment so we can allocate the time needed to address your inquiries thoroughly.
